Descripción:  

Esta obra parte del estudio de un acontecimiento: objetos que llegan trasladados por el río y se acumulan en la bahía del barrio Capurro. Tomando las precauciones de un técnico criminalista, sin modificar la escena, comencé la tarea de dibujar todos los objetos encontrados en un área de 25 metros cuadrados. Delineando sus contornos, identificando a cada uno de ellos, realizo lo que se llama una planimetría forense en la investigación de la escena de un crimen. Una tarea inútil, que pretende dejar constancia de un hecho: miles de objetos con un pasado indescifrable, con una historia imposible de ser contada. Un caso excepcional, irrepetible, no resuelto.

Description:
This work begins with the study of a specific event: objects carried by the river that accumulate in the bay of Montevideo. I propose a detailed survey of each of these objects in the location where they are found.

Following the precautions of a crime scene investigator, I first conducted a photographic survey of the scene. Then, I began the task of drawing each object captured in the photos using technical drawing tools—outlining their contours, identifying each one, and creating what is known as forensic planimetry in crime scene investigation.

We are confronted with thousands of objects, each with an indecipherable past and an untold story. An exceptional, unrepeatable, and unsolved case.
