“Dance me to the end of love” es una instalación realizada con figuras de papel movidas por el viento evocando el “Square dancing” practicado activamente por aproximadamente 100 millones de personas de mediana edad y retiradas, en la república popular de china.

Los personajes bailan movidos por el viento generado por dos ventiladores de pie cruzados. El video toma de la canción de Leonard Cohen que da título a la instalación el coro que repitiendo “La-la. La-la-la-la-la-la” se convierte en un mantra ensoñador. Quédate conmigo hasta que el amor se acabe.

Descripción
«Dance me to the end of love» is an installation made with thin wind-driven paper figures evoking the «Square dancing» actively practiced by approximately 100 million people of middle age and retired, in the popular republic of china.

Represented by hundreds of paper figures on a square table, the portrayed characters dance endlessly, driven by the wind generated by two crossed foot fans. The video takes the song of Leonard Cohen that gives title to the installation, making use only of the chorus repeating «La-la. La-la-la-la-la-la» that becomes a dreamy mantra that silently repeats: Stay with me until love is over.
